Honestly i don't have a lot to say for this entry... I'm glad i finally managed to put on a new page for my site, and i feel like each day i'm closer to uploading it.

hmm well now that i think of it i have my concerns regarding the development, i don't run into many problems or frustrations with the code, but the design makes my head hurt, i don't know what colors to use (sadly, i never had a favourite color, just lied about it until i was like uhm...12?) and what kind of aesthetics? or style to use, i neither want to be minimalist nor overly maximalist, or maybe i actually want to do the later, but not with some of the resources i have drawn, which are for example the patterns taken from various african fabrics and clothing pieces you can see in this page.

hmm well now that i think of it i have my concerns regarding the crafting, i don't run into many problems or frustrations with the code, but the design makes my head hurt, i don't know what colors to use (sadly, i never had a favourite color, just lied about it until i was, like, uhm...12? so now i don't have a color to go to when i have to design something special) or style/aesthetics, i neither want to be minimalist nor maximalist, or maybe i actually want to do the latter, but not with some of the resources i have drawn, which are for example the patterns taken from various african fabrics and clothing pieces you can see in this page.

A part of me simply doesn't want to not put them in every corner of every page because they took a lot of time to draw (about an hour and half each) and because i really really want to put here bits of my ethnic and cultural identity, maybe even dignify it more? Give it more visibility or something...

But at the same time they simply don't go with the look i want to give some areas, or they are too detailed, which adds a visual charge to something i'm trying to keep balanced perhaps.
(this was added on 10/01/2026: applying some filters and playing a bit more with other colors i managed to place them onother pages satisfactorily!!)

um well that's it. If I continue, I will either get redundant or off-topic, apart from this little issue i had (which is not that big, because as you can see these borders are here now and probably will be in other pages) i'm having a lot of fun coding this!! I have a sense of freedom mixed with duty, i keep thinking "I have to draw more, to crochet, to make music, to write better things..." And at the same time i don't feel pressured at all, a personal website gives me the perfect balance between the "i have to do things well enough for myself but also to present them on my website" and "i'm quite invisible in this corner of the internet, i'm comfortable in my own territory and unpressured"
